This terrestrial orchid grows in moist areas in open forests and rainforest
verges
around Brisbane.
The rosette has up to 6 stalked leaves to 100mm by 30mm. The flower stem to about
30cm tall with the flower 20mm tall. The flower is green with white stripes
and fawn towards the tip.
This species can be identified by its green and white flower with a
twisted labellum tip. It is similar to Pterostylis
hildae,
but can be distinguished by its twisted labellum tip, and more obtuse
angle of the sinus. |
