| This deciduous terrestrial orchid grows in grassy woodland and heath
along the coast. Its grass like leaves grow to 40cm. The flower stem grows
to 40mm tall with up to 7 20mm white flowers with lilac blotches. The area
between the labellum callus ridges is yellow.
This orchid is identified by the very pale colour and divergent petals
which are only half as wide as their length. It is unlikely to be confused
with any other orchid around Brisbane. |
