This distinctive epiphyte or lithophyte grows in open forests and rainforest verges around Brisbane.  In suitable conditions, it will cover large areas making a very spectacular display when in flower.

The creeping habit and the dull green suculent grooved leaves to 40mm by 15mm give this orchid a distinctive appearence. The flower stems grow to 15cm with up to 20 flowers per stem. Flowers are white to cream and about 10mm across but do not open widely.

This distinctive orchid cannot be confused with any other orchid even when not in flower.
